Welcome to Ride24. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Ride24 mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). By creating an account or using Ride24, you agree to these Terms.
1. About Ride24
Ride24 is a technology platform that connects passengers with independent drivers for transportation, delivery, and related mobility services. Ride24 does not directly provide transportation services unless expressly stated.
2. Eligibility
To use Ride24, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old, or the legal age in your jurisdiction.
- Have the legal capacity to enter into contracts.
- Provide accurate registration information.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining account security.
- Keeping your login credentials confidential.
- All activities conducted under your account.
Ride24 may suspend or terminate accounts for fraud, abuse, policy violations, or unlawful activity.
4. Services Provided
Ride24 may offer:
- Ride-hailing services.
- Intercity rides.
- Delivery or courier services.
- Scheduled bookings.
- Cashless payments and wallet services.
- Promotions and loyalty programs.
Service availability may vary by city or region.
5. Driver Relationship
Drivers using Ride24 are independent service providers and are not employees, agents, or partners of Ride24 unless required by law. Ride24 acts as an intermediary platform connecting riders and drivers.
6. Female Driver Preferences
Female drivers may choose, where legally permitted, to accept only female passengers. Female drivers may also choose to accept male passengers at their sole discretion. Ride24 respects lawful driver preference settings intended to support safety and comfort.
6A. Licensing and Verification
Ride24 maintains strict onboarding and compliance standards. Drivers must provide valid licenses, national ID/passport where required, vehicle registration, and any permits required by law. Ride24 may perform identity checks, document reviews, background screening, and recurring re-verification at any time.
6B. Registered Vehicle Use
Drivers must use only the car or bike registered and approved in their Ride24 account. If a driver changes vehicle, they must update the system and receive approval before accepting trips. Verified complaints regarding unauthorized vehicle use may result in immediate suspension, including up to one week or longer depending on severity and repeat violations.
7. Booking and Ride Acceptance
- Ride requests are subject to driver availability.
- Estimated arrival times and fares are approximate.
- Drivers may accept or decline requests where legally permitted.
- Ride24 may cancel bookings for safety, fraud prevention, or operational reasons.
8. Pricing and Payments
Fares may include:
- Base fare.
- Distance and time charges.
- Dynamic pricing during peak demand.
- Tolls, taxes, airport fees, or surcharges.
- Cancellation or waiting fees.
Payments may be made via cash, card, wallet, or other approved methods. Ride24 may update pricing methods at any time with notice where required.
9. Cancellations and Refunds
- Riders may cancel subject to cancellation fees.
- Drivers may cancel where necessary.
- Refund requests are reviewed case-by-case.
- Fraudulent chargebacks may result in account restriction.
10. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the platform unlawfully.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse drivers, riders, or staff.
- Damage vehicles or property.
- Provide false information.
- Circumvent payments.
- Use another person's account.
- Carry prohibited or dangerous items.
11. Safety
Users must comply with safety requirements, including:
- Wearing seat belts where required.
- Following local laws.
- Respectful behavior during rides.
- Reporting emergencies to local authorities first.
Ride24 has zero tolerance for harassment, abuse, threats, stalking, intimidation, or misconduct. If a user is found guilty of such behavior, Ride24 may impose penalties including fines and suspension or termination of account.
12. Ratings and Feedback
Riders and drivers may rate each other. Low ratings, repeated complaints, misconduct, or safety issues may lead to suspension or removal.
13. Promotions and Referral Programs
Promotions may be subject to separate rules and may be withdrawn, changed, or limited at any time. Fraudulent use of promo codes may result in cancellation and account action.
14. Intellectual Property
The Ride24 name, logo, app, software, designs, and content are owned by Ride24 or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or misuse them.
15. Privacy
Your use of Ride24 is also governed by the Ride24 Privacy Policy, including collection and processing of location, payment, and usage data.
16. Limitation of Liability
Ride24 provides the platform on an "as is" basis and is not liable for indirect damages or actions of independent drivers or users.
17. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Ride24 harmless from claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your misuse of the platform or violation of these Terms.
18. Suspension and Termination
Ride24 may suspend or terminate access for fraud, safety risks, or legal violations.
19. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable laws of the relevant jurisdiction.
20. Dispute Resolution
Disputes should first be submitted to support, then legal/arbitration if required.
21. Changes to Terms
Ride24 may update these Terms at any time. Continued use means acceptance.
